Kristen V. Cahill is a creative consultant, collaborator and independent curator living in Atlanta. As the principal of her firm, she’s consulted on creative, marketing and strategy projects for corporate clients, curated and built a museum quality art collection and designed interiors for residential clients in the Southeast. Outside of her firm, she’s had the pleasure of working for the same boss three times at three different companies spearheading brand and creative direction. She also worked with Peace Design and Tim Hobby Design on national, high-end residential projects. And she spent the 90’s in NYC working with Calvin Klein, Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, KCD and up-and-coming fashion designers.
In 2012, she curated and produced the single U.S. showing of Lightscapes, an exhibition of fashion designer Dries Van Noten and photographer James Reeve’s collaboration. She also served on the board of Flux Projects from 2010-2015, where she initiated and co-produced the 2015 Nick Cave original performance piece, Up Right Atlanta. In 2020, she co-curated She Is Here, an exhibition for the Atlanta Contemporary celebrating twenty multigenerational and multicultural female artists and new artwork informed by the shifts of the pandemic, race relations and social & political divides. From 2019-2022, she was the curator for The Lola, a women’s club and co-working space, where she created an art program and rotating exhibitions featuring female-identifying artists in the Southeast.
Kristen is a board member of the GA Committee for the National Museum of Women in the Arts and an advisory board member for the Atlanta Art Fair.
