Thoughts/learnings: Be outside to feel more inside. This is a painting of a little girl eating noodles on a curb. It was a pleasant Brooklyn summer block party.

Block parties are staples for summertime in Brooklyn. There's always a lot going on within the confide block; you likely can catch a bouncy house, aunties gossiping, face-painted children, and water in all forms. Block parties are colorful. I couldn't help but document this sweet tender moment of this little girl quietly enjoying her meal. Where did she even find noodles?
